The Portland Zoo

My boyfriend and I tend to rarely have days off together, which works completely fine for us since we live together. But this past week the stars aligned and we for once had a mutual day off. The weather has also been cold, but pleasant and sunny, and our day off was no exception. We headed up to Portland and spent the entire day at the zoo. I have to admit, I was freezing my butt off practically the entire time, but the lack of crowds was worth it. A lot of the animals were also seeking warmth in hiding, but the baby elephant easily made up for it all. Needless to say, I snapped loads of photos. Here are just a few.
